Digital Sports Reporter and Producer for the Georgia Bulldogs
My name is Kaitlin Alexander a digital media producer and social media coordinator for the Georgia Bulldogs with the University of Georgia Athletic Association, where I create social media content for baseball, women's tennis, track and field, volleyball, and women's golf.
For the past nine months, I grew UGA social media pages by 30% focusing on audience engagement and quality content. Now, I’m looking for my next opportunity in the sports media.
A proud Alumna of the University of Florida, where I majored in Telecommunications- News, minored in Innovation and Theatre, and a concentration in Spanish. At UF, I was the sports and news reporter for PBS affiliate WUFT-News, digital sports writer and reporter for ESPN Gainesville, campus contributor for ESPNU Campus Connection and production assistant for the UF Athletic Association’s GatorVision TV.
Highlights of my college career include covering the Jacksonville Jaguars three times, UF National Championship games, studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain, and interviewing all three UF Heisman trophy winners, including Tim Tebow various times.
During college, I completed many internships including the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World, North- Central Florida’s ABC affiliate WCJB TV20, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, and CNN Sports/ Bleacher Report in Atlanta, Georgia.
Whenever I am not in the newsroom or on the sidelines, you can find me exploring nature, attending sports games, and spending time with friends and family.
